About:

Daniel is passionate about software and has experience in web, embedded, and desktop application development. A number of his projects are shown under the Projects section of this page. Daniel started as a mechanical engineer where he designed a number of machines, fixtures, and fluid power systems. He eventually moved on to electrical panel design and PLC programming. He is now focusing a career in software engineering.

Training:

As of 01/10/17, Daniel is currently completing the following accreditations in computer science:

1. Master's degree in computer science @CSU (expected 2019)
2. Full stack web development certificate @FreeCodeCamps (expected 2018)

Daniel currently has a BS in Mechanical Engineering, an MS in Mechatronics Engineering, and has been working as an engineer for 10 years. He officially began coding in early 2016, but completed a number of small projects much earlier in high school and engineering school. He previously completed a 16 week semester course in C and programmed a platform game using GMaker. Daniel also accumulated over 500 hours of tutorial and project work per the Khan, Code, and Microsoft Virtaul academies. Many of the instructors in those online academies are highly qualified. Many have PhDs, have worked at google, or are even the creators of famous frameworks such as JQuery and ProcessingJS. Daniel also receives professional training from a number of people who work directly in this industry.
